Shipping FAQs

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note that all shipping rates are subject to change.

Local delivery is available upon request within London, ON.

Deliveries are made from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. We will contact you via telephone with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

GTA Delivery

Deliveries to the Greater Toronto Area are made weekly if your order meets delivery criteria. An additional fee does apply. We also offer FedEx Ground and Express shipping options.

After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick-up within 5 to 10 days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with pick-up instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Please have your order confirmation email ready when you arrive.

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification including a tracking number to check the status of your order. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@nothers.com with your name and order number.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@nothers.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will do our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Product FAQs

If you have an event date, please inform us. Our team will do everything we can to meet your event date. Short turnarounds may incur rush fees. If you require a short turnaround, please call us at 1-800-265-1554.

Our 30-day return policy allows you to request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at sales@nothers.com.

Upon receiving your order, please inspect it and contact us immediately if you find any defects, damage, or if you received the wrong item. We will promptly evaluate the issue and make it right for you.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at sales@nothers.com.

Rush orders can be completed on in-stock items only with a rush order fee of $35.00. Please note that shipping charges may increase to meet your deadline. We will notify you of these charges.

Our state-of-the-art engraving technology allows us to precisely customize a variety of materials including metal, glass, and acrylic. We also offer personalization for items such as pens, keychains, urns, and more.

Laser engraving uses a laser beam to etch designs, logos, or text onto the surface of items such as metal, wood, and glass. This method removes a thin layer of the material, creating a deep and permanent mark that is known for its high quality and durability, ideal for items like pens, keychains, and wine glasses.

UV printing is a digital printing process that uses ultraviolet light to dry and cure the ink as it hits the surface of a product. Commonly used on materials like metal, plastic, and acrylic, UV printing allows for vibrant, full-color output. This method produces high-quality images and designs that are resistant to fading, scratching, and wear, making it perfect for intricate patterns and photographs.

Etching involves using acid or a chemical solution to create designs or text on surfaces such as glass, crystal, and metal. The process starts by coating the surface with a protective layer, applying the acid through a template, and allowing it to eat away at exposed areas. Etching gives a subtle, elegant look, ideal for personalized gifts and commemorative items.

After etching, you can opt for color filling, which involves adding ink or paint to the etched lines. This enhances the visibility and decorative appeal of the etching, helping to highlight the details and create contrast for more striking and visually appealing results.

Traditional engraving uses a diamond-tipped tool to inscribe designs or text onto metal surfaces such as aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. This method creates deep, permanent marks with a fine, crisp line quality. Traditional diamond drag engraving is distinguished by its tactile feel, as the engraved areas have a slightly raised texture, making it excellent for detailed logos and text.

Artwork FAQs

Our graphics department can support the following programs:

Artwork must be supplied as follows (Mac and/or PC):

  • CDR file – all text must be converted to curves
  • EPS format (vector image) – all text converted to outlines
  • Ai format – all text converted to outlines
  • Images – JPG or TIF at a resolution of 300dpi

  • Setup1 – Repeat artwork/setup/admin - $19.95
  • Setup2 – Standard artwork/setup/admin - $35.00
  • Setup3 – Specialty artwork/setup/admin - $69.95
  • Setup4 – School Program – Elementary/Secondary only artwork/setup/admin - $29.95
  • Braille – Include braille on tactile signage - $1.00 per sign
  • Extra Plate – addition of extra plates - $1.50/each
  • UV Medals – addition of 3D print on full-colour medals - $1.00/each

Files supplied should be as close to the final size as possible. Files can always be reduced but enlarging can sometimes pose a problem. When in doubt, please contact the art department before sending your file (info@nothers.com).

Remember, only send a duplicate of your file and never send the original. Files can become corrupt and you may need to provide a replacement.

  1. Size - A logo of exact size or larger than the required size will produce a sharper image. A logo that is smaller than the required size will lose detail and the edges will become ragged when enlarged. A specialty charge will apply.
  2. Halftones cause problems in production. The recommended dot size for silk screening is 65 lines per inch. Halftones are only available in Sublimation and Silk Screening.
  3. Scanning - If the logo needs to be scanned it is recommended that the design be 2 or 3 times larger than the required size. THIS IS NOT CAMERA READY; the logo will have to be re-drawn and the type reset. Type is NOT scanner-friendly.
  4. Colour - Pantone numbers are required for colour selection.

Every order includes an art setup fee of $35.00 and two rounds of changes for art approval. Additional approvals are $5.00 each.
